I fold the letter I received from the owl a few hours ago and toss it aside, leaning against the wooden barn wall with a sigh. Even without the text of the letter before my eyes, though, I can't get the words out of my head. Curse word-perfect memory anyway...

You are cordially invited to attend a celebration marking the completion of my most humble of residences as well as my rebirth into this world. I am sure your schedule leaves you (as well as the rest of the Terran Resistance) with precious little free time, but I do hope that you are somehow able to attend, as a number of unique festivities have already been arranged. A courtesy shuttle has been provided for your convenience. It will arrive at 1 pm on the 20th of March at the destination of your choosing.

The same letters received by Snape, Vader, Yoda, Luke, Prime, Rose, Megatron, and others... all bearing the same text. Letters arrogantly rubbing his victory in our faces... and possibly setting up an enormous trap.
"Kenya," Vader tells me, coming to stand before me, "we HAVE to go. If only to know what his next move is..."
"And paint a huge bulls-eye on our butts while we're at it?" I ask. "Vader, it's a trap. The Emperor's not exactly a guy you can trust, remember? This could all be a big set-up."
"I am aware of that."
"That plus everything else that's happened -- the kidnappings and entechments, Voldemort showing up, the bodies being stolen, the search for the heart shards..."
"This is the only way, Kenya. We may never have an opportunity like this again."
I sigh. "I still don't like it."
"Neither do I. But we have no choice."
I nod. "I guess we send a note back saying where he can send the shuttle. Preferably not here, I don't want to put my family in danger."
"He can always meet us at your father's house," Vader suggests wryly.
"Tempting, but no. Besides, he may try recruiting my father, and we don't want that."
He extends a hand and helps me up. Then he heads for the house to contact the other Resistance leaders while I go make the rounds among the new arrivals to make sure they feel welcome.
Heart shards... I have never heard of such a thing. Not being familiar with Kingdom Hearts, I'd never known that a heart could even be destroyed in such a manner. To think that pieces of someone's heart could be inside members of the Resistance... maybe Vader's carrying one and doesn't realize it...
Things are out of our control, and I don't like it one bit.
Let us all pray that whatever comes of this meeting, we can work it to our advantage.

This is messed up. That a**hole flaunting his "Victory", desecrating tombs, and a huge convention of big-bads that we're invited to.

hey Kenya, need any help with the hearts and kingdom Hearts aspect of this trouble? I know those games like the back of my hand, and with some guys ,living here, who know more about the heart than I ever will.
I'm here if you need any help. At all. And Xigbar is bored, so he said he wouldnt mind helping out as well. After all, he was one of he original Apprentice with Ansem the wise, who first started these experiments on hearts.
Something just occurred to me a few minutes ago, and I figure it's best if I spread the word.
Remember how Palpatine was planning on creating a Transformer body for himself back when we were fighting Unicron last fall? Well, what if this "Babylon Palace" in Montreal that we're heading for is actually that completed Transformer body? From the looks of things, we're probably dealing with something about the size of Metroplex, Trypticon or their Headmaster sucessors Fortress Maximus and Scorponok. In short, a body that's about the same size as Palpatine's ego.
I don't know about you, but I'm not taking any chances. Two of our more recent recruits, Maligore and Dark Specter (cousins of our 21st Gung-Ho Gun Kumasogami) can grow to giant size, allowing them to at least match a body that big in sheer brute force. Fight fire with fire, so to speak. But just in case, we probably need a few more super-sized heroes/reformed villains to take him on. I've sent a couple of our guys to find at least one, but who knows if it'll work. I can't say who, in case we aren't sucessful, but if we are... well, Palpatine will be hard-pressed to match our forces.
Prepare yourselves. In one week, we're going into an all-out war.

Alright! I've got a plan! The Feegle horde is ready to enter this building concealed in everyone's pockets. If everyone could make room for about two to four Feegles on their person, we can surprise whoever's there with a fighting force ready to give the enemy "a facefull of heid".

Tabby, have you been getting any odd messages from the FF front? Because yesterday none other than Cloud always-in-Strife showed his blonde emo ass up at my place, dropped off three very confused Remnants, and left without an explaination.
I oughta kick his butt...once I've finished teaching Yazoo and Loz how to play poker and taught Kadaj NOT to pull the nice kitty's tail off just becuase they make funny noises when you do...

Nexu, are you serious? He dropped the silver haired trio off at you're place. Why? Though I did hear from Riku, who last time he saw Cloud, he seemed...a bit anxious and nervous. Well, not really physically, but Riku did say something was off about him. Like his mind was more preoccupied than normal. I would have asked Sora, but sora is...how we say...oblivious.
Though your teaching Yazoo and Loz how to play poker? Want me to recommend Luxord to help with that? Then again, Luxord plays for keeps, no matter who he plays against, no matter how much better he is at the game than they are. I still have someones pants from that one bonfire party last year. Enough said.

Anyways, I'll let you know if I hear anything. Though for some reason, I have a feeling like I'm not getting the information I should. I wonder...I need to talk to Xigbar. Again, let me know if I can do anything else to help.
Yeah, they're actually starting to learn about fun that DOESN'T involve other people running and screaming. Kadaj has decided that he likes cats, and the ones he hasn't scared to death have taken to following him round the house like some weird creepy silent parade.

And Kadaj liking cats? he should meet Demyx. We have 3 cats, and Demyx lets the ones outside sleep with him. And our indoor cat seems to adore him. I still cant figure that out.
Well, in every universe/world, I have found...there is at least one person who shares your genetics. Kind of like there theory of how there are three people in the world who look exactly like you.

So, vexan knows as well? This will definitly be interesting, when Riku finds out. He usually checks out the blogs after they land.

From what I understand, Vexen--er...'Even' had a wife before he became a Nobody. Thing was, she was really sick and ended up dying. He preserved her body in the hopes of bringing her back somehow and that led him to Ansem the Wise and his experiments involving hearts. He thought that perhaps he could bring his wife back somehow...
After he became a Nobody he began experiments on how to create replicas...clones in essence. He had many failures, but finally succeeded on making one. Xemnas foun out about the cloning project and decided that since they needed a faster way of harvesting hearts, that Vexen should come up with a way of mapping out Keyblade weilder DNA. Apparently, those who can weild the Keyblade--whether they be light or dark--have something special in their genetics--probably the same thing that makes Jedi different from other people...
Anyways, since one successful replica was already made, they used her as the test subject, manipulating her DNA to make the 'perfect weilder' as it were...
Unfortunately, she escaped. The journal doesn't detail how she does it, but I have my suspicions as to how it happened. *pointed look at Vexen, coughs something under her breath*
Later on in the journal...and I mean quite a ways later on, he writes about how he found her again, manipulated her by revealing her true identity, making her go as mad as Sephiroth had in the Nibelheim incident. She ended up fighting a whole lot of people--old friends, enemies...allies, you name it. She went totally nuts.
*flips through pages*
Skipping ahead, we find that the replica has settled down in Destiny Island and has....*looks* Yeah, I thought as much. I won't reveal too much on the family itself, but...She definitely gave birth to Riku.
Hmm...it seems that Vexen has bene keeping tabs on Riku's mum and Riku himself for quite a bit. Has a bit of an attachment--or obsession--you might say...
But you're probably wondering about what this has to do with the Silver Haired Men in general....well...
I do remember mentioning how there are quite a few out there with the same genetic material--more or less--as you, right? Even though we say that DNA is unique? Well, not in other worlds/universes...
Even married a woman named Jenova. So, by a stretch of universes...Riku is somewhat related to Kadaj and the others, as well as Sephiroth. Hell...you could even say that the KH Sephiroth might have once been the only son of Even and Jenova. Who the hell knows? It doesn't mention anywhere in this journal about them having a son...just saying she died....Or is kept in stasis somewhere on Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden. I reckon she might still be somewhere deep within the old castle...

Wow. Riku is gonna freak out when he finds out about this. And Vexan? Wow. Well, that explains some stuff. And I always thought that Riku looked an awful lot like Sephiroth and the silver haired trio. Looks like those boys may have another "brother".
Holy cow. Wow. This is gonna be one heck of an interesting weekend.

Ever wondered WHY Vexen made a Riku replica in Chain of Memories? Well, there you go.
I know who his dad is and thankfully, Riku's father is neither Vexen or Sephiroth. Luckily. Riku knows his dad pretty well...Riku pretty much takes after him, I should think.
I'd say that it would be cute for them to bond over another 'brother', but I don't want to hold my breath for a peaceful meeting between them...
Good luck handling them. I know I don't want to be there when Riku finds out. Hoo boy...He's gonna ask his mom a lot of questions when he gets home....

I do believe he's covered on the brother front. I think this explains Riku's need to prove himself so much.
Recognize those three boys? These are their KH counterparts which aren't half as insane...And since they live on an island, they probably don't wear as much leather...

Nexu and the silver haired trio should be here soon to drop off that triffid. And Riku and Sora as well. They werent due here untill Noon. Then again, according to my watch...they're late. Never mind. I hear a gummi outside. Got to go. I think Its them.
By the way, for anyone who dosnt read the others blogs, I did get an invitation. Only Xigbar went through my mail and took it. So him and Larxene were going up there. They were planning on meeting up with Axel and Demyx in montreal. I'm gonna be home alone wiht Marluxia, Lexeaus and Vexan. Who still hasnt come out of his lab, and probably wont be anytime soon.
Can't be any worse than dealing with two slightly hungover nitwits.
