The originals were used in "X-Wing: Wraith Squadron". There, the five basic components listed were:

- a standard ion projector, rigged for a single detonation.

- an electromagnetic pulse generator with the same area of emission.

- a sensor rig that can detect hyperspace anomalies (such as ships jumping into a system).

- a gravitational pulse generator such as those used on Imperial Interdictor Cruisers.

- a one-shot hypercomm unit, which throws off a single alarm at the time of detonation.

The purpose of such a bomb is to detect hyperspace arrivals, put out a gravitational pulse to bring them out of hyperspace prematurely, then hit them with both ion pulse and electromagnetic pulse.

Of course, when it comes to dealing with Nemesis, most of this is probably unneeded. The two parts to short out his systems are the most crucial bits of the system. Just make sure he's the only one with electronic components in range when it goes off.

And if all else fails, I can probably send our friend with the gravity beams to lend a hand. (Or tail, since he doesn't actually have hands.) You know who I mean.

Until next time!Anon e Mouse Jr.http://www.blogger.com/profile/17993601433872170925noreply@blogger.com
